How do I record and analyze a movement?
On the Capture tab, tap a sport under Sports Performance Analysis and choose Record New Clip to film it in-app, or Choose Existing Clip to analyze one you already recorded. Anglaxis detects whether the clip is side-on or front-on and applies the matching analysis. You can also just tap the big Record button and analyze later.
How does the automatic plane detection work?
Anglaxis estimates body pose across the clip and measures how wide the shoulders and hips appear relative to torso height — narrow means side-on (sagittal), wide means front-on (frontal). If it ever guesses wrong, use the Side-on / Front-on switch at the top of the report to override it.
How accurate are the measurements?
Anglaxis is a 2D video tool. Accuracy depends on your camera setup — film square to the plane of motion, level with the region of interest, on a tripod, with the subject filling the frame. See the in-app Settings → Camera Setup & Accuracy guide. AI estimates are a starting point; always verify by freezing the frame and checking the points with the Adjust tool. Anglaxis is not a medical device and does not diagnose.
Are my videos uploaded anywhere?
No. Recording and movement analysis happen on your device. If you enable iCloud, your projects sync through your own private iCloud account — not to Anglaxis. See our Privacy Policy.
What does the subscription include, and how do I manage it?
Anglaxis Pro unlocks recording and all measurement, annotation, and analysis tools. It’s available as 1 device ($24.99/yr) or 3 devices ($49.99/yr), with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Your recorded videos stay viewable even if your subscription ends.
How do I restore a purchase or use an offer code?
In the app, open Settings → Anglaxis Pro and tap Restore Purchases, or Redeem a Code to enter an offer code (used for institutional/bulk access).
How do I move analysis to another device?
Sign into the same iCloud account on both devices with iCloud enabled and your projects sync automatically. Multi-device plans let you manage which devices are active in Settings → Anglaxis Pro (you can remove a device to free a seat).
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual clips and folders in the app, or remove everything on the device with Settings → Delete All My Data. To remove synced copies, delete while signed into the iCloud account they synced to.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone running iOS 18 or later. Recording requires a device with a camera. High frame rates (120/240 fps) depend on your specific iPhone model.
