Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Anglaxis (“Anglaxis,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the Anglaxis iOS application (the “App”). We built Anglaxis to keep your data on your own devices and in your own iCloud account. We do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

The short version: Your videos are recorded and analyzed on your device. Movement analysis (pose detection) runs locally using Apple’s on-device frameworks — your clips are never uploaded to Anglaxis. If you enable iCloud, your projects sync through your own private Apple iCloud database, which we cannot access.

1. Information We Process

Content you create

Videos and audio you record or add, and the frames you freeze.
Annotations and measurements (angles, distances, notes, voice memos) and analysis results.
Organizational data such as folder and clip names.

This content is stored on your device in the App’s private storage. If iCloud is enabled and you are signed into iCloud, it also syncs to your private iCloud database via Apple’s CloudKit. We do not receive or store this content on our own servers.

Camera & microphone

The App uses your device camera to record clips and your microphone to record optional voice memos attached to frames. These are used only for features you initiate. The App does not access your system Photos library.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Anglaxis never receives your payment card or billing details. We receive from Apple only the entitlement status needed to unlock features (whether a valid subscription exists and its tier). For multi-device (“seat”) management, a minimal record — a device identifier and device name you can view and remove in Settings — is stored in your private iCloud database to enforce your plan’s device limit.

Diagnostics

If you opt in through iOS, Apple may share aggregate crash and performance diagnostics with developers. This data is provided by Apple in aggregated form and does not identify you. The App contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

2. How We Use Information

To provide the App’s features: recording, playback, measurement, AI-assisted analysis, and comparison.
To sync your projects across your own devices via your iCloud account (if enabled).
To validate your subscription and enforce your plan’s device limit.
To respond to support requests you send us.

3. On-Device AI Processing

AI-assisted features (auto-angle, joint tracking, and sport analysis) use Apple’s on-device Vision framework to estimate body pose. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your video frames are not sent to Anglaxis or to any third-party AI service for this purpose.

4. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your content with third parties for their own purposes. Limited processing occurs with:

Apple — for App Store distribution, subscription processing (StoreKit), and iCloud/CloudKit sync of your data to your own account. Apple’s handling is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer, in each case consistent with this policy.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your content stays until you delete it. You can delete individual clips and projects in the App, and you can remove all Anglaxis data on the device using Settings → Delete All My Data. To remove synced copies, delete the content while signed into the iCloud account it synced to; you can also manage or delete app data through your device’s iCloud settings. Because we do not store your content on our servers, there is nothing further for us to delete on our side.

6. Security

Content is stored within the App’s protected storage on your device and, when sync is enabled, in Apple’s CloudKit private database secured by your Apple ID. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we design the App to minimize the data that ever leaves your control.

7. Children’s Privacy

Anglaxis is intended for coaches, clinicians, researchers, and adult users, and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a coach or clinician records a minor as part of their professional work, they are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because most data is under your direct control on your device and in your iCloud account, you can exercise many of these rights directly in the App. For anything else, contact us at privacy@anglaxis.com.

9. International Users

The App is operated from the United States of America. If you use it elsewhere, your data is primarily processed on your device and within your iCloud account; Apple may process iCloud data in regions described in Apple’s documentation.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
